I have a G530 WAAS and G430 WAAS in my PA23. I've been getting quotes to install ADSb. Basically quotes for a GTX345. Along with those quotes, I've been requesting a quote to swap the 530 for a 540 and the 430 for a 440 along with the Avidyne ADSb option (in lieu of the gtx345). With the trade in for the garmin units and deducting the cost of the gtx345, it ends up being about an $11,000 cost to upgrade to the Avidyne units.

Is it worth it? Why?
