Has anyone upgraded their PS Engineering 7000 series audio panel to the 8000 series? I have a 7000B that I would like to upgrade to the 8000G. Mark Scheuer, founder of PS Engineering told me that is largely a pin replacement which should only take a few hours but shops I have spoken to want me to leave the plane for two days. I have looked at installation manuals for both and it does not look that complicated.
