Found a post on another forum about this..

Posted stated that the GFC 500 will pitch the nose down at min speed EVEN IF THE AUTOPILOT IS TURNED OFF!

That is why there is a 200 ft alt inhibit to keep the pitch servo from interfering with the flare/landing.

Is this accurate information?

AEP is nice to have when you want or need it. But to activate the pitch servo when the AP is OFF?

Nada... The last thing I want is another "pilot" fighting for the controls during an emergency or avoidance maneuver.

Does one have to pull the breaker to get this system "OFF" ?
