I know I’ve seen it here in a thread before, but can’t find it. Possibly it was a side discussion of a different thread topic, so I broke it out as a separate question:
Our AC100 seems to want to hunt a bit to keep altitude. In smooth air, this is up to ~50’ or so above and below target. In bouncy air, I’ve had the HDX announce “Leaving Altitude” a few times, so that’s approaching 200’ (all in VFR flying).
What adjustments (and how) can we try to tighten this up a bit? In general, we’re loving the autopilot, which is far better than the inop one it replaced 😁. We just need to learn it better and dial it in a little tighter. It seems to hold laterally just fine.
