I just installed a GNX 375 with the little encoder on the back. I had the transponder calibrated and everything went well. I took the plane on a trip and the transponder was reading low, ie, we were at 8500 feet and it was reading 7500. I went to alternate static air and the reading did not change much. On the ground it reads perfect.

1966 Aztec.

Any thoughts?

Peace
