Hey,
Why fall for the Optical Illusions when SkyVoice gives you Reality callouts & displays?!
If you’re flying a Seaplane, you know that takeoff and landing on glassy water can be a unique challenge. That's why we designed the SkyVoice Glassy Guide 400 - 400ft Takeoff and Landing Height Announcer accurate over water and land, specifically designed for seaplanes/amphibians. FAA Approved as NORSEE.
The lack of surface features in glassy water can make it difficult to judge the plane's height above the water. SkyVoice Glassy Guide 400 will give pilots takeoff and landing height announcements and reminders from 1 ft to 400 ft. The 4 reminders from 400 ft to 100 ft can be used to remind you of "400 check gear" or "300 checklist" or "200 flaps" or "100 speed" or many other options that you can select from. After your 100 ft announcement, you can hear 70, 50, 20, 10, 5, 2, and 1 to a smooth and safe water landing. The user can also set reminders against their preferred heights from a set of available reminders like Check Gear, Checklist, LC GUMPS, Flaps, Speed and Prop. It announces GPS/MSL altitudes 18000, 12500, 11000, 10000, 9000, 8000, 7000, 6000, 5000, 4000, 3000, 2000, 1000 and 500 feet. . Users can customize GPS-based reminders, such as Check Oxygen, IFR Altimeter, Clearance, Prop and Top of Descent.
The SkyVoice Glassy Guide utilizes Holy Micro! LLC's HMR400 RADAR. It uses 24GHz-ISM frequency band which has strong anti-interference ability. HMR400 RADAR operates on a different principle than LiDAR, making it suitable for both water and ground applications. LiDAR uses light waves, which are easily absorbed by water, while HMR400 RADAR uses radio waves, which can penetrate water more effectively. It also works well in rain, snow, fog, dust and other harsh environments. It's compact size, light weight and low energy makes it ideal for GA Aircraft.
The Portable Glassy Guide unit features the same hardware and software as the certified version. It is equipped with rechargeable battery. The portable unit allows you to install it temporarily in any location you want. You can connect by bluetooth and do many test flights to make sure everything is working the way you want. Once you are satisfied, you can open the portable unit and remove the RADAR and the processor to do your permanent install. SkyVoice Glassy Guide 400 Quick Install / Portable comes pre-loaded with our reliable, self-contained embedded software. Say goodbye to the constant need for updates associated with iPhone or Android apps. Enjoy a seamless experience without the headaches of frequent OS updates. Stack the odds in your favor! Install SkyVoice Glassy Guide 400. Fly safely.
