Looking for some input.....

Currently have 530w and SL30 driving two different CDI's.

I am pulling out the old autopilot and replacing with a GFC500 and with a pair of GI275's. Here is the two options:

1. Connect the 530 to the GI275 to drive the autopilot GFC500 and keep one of the old CDI's connected to the SL30 for CDI redundancy. BUT the SL30 will lose the ability to drive the autopilot (VOR and ILS approaches) OR

2. Remove both mechanical CDI's and connect both the GNS530W and SL30 to the GI275 for radio redundancy.

The Lance is in the shop now and probably needs an answer fairly quickly, I am struggling to decide.

Thanks for your input!
