As the search continues (for non-abysmal performance with 2 FAA+ adults and a growing kiddo aboard), I look at the Arrow 180/200 as a potential solution...

The Arrow 180 seems to be panned as a bit of a gutless wonder, and was eventually killed off by the 200 versions. Understanding that pilots rarely scoff at more horsepower, what say the people who have actually spent time behind one?
