Hey all, first post here! I'm a former rotary wing pilot in the military and have ~100 hours of fixed wing time over the past couple years. I was a partner in a Cessna Cardinal, but the partners have decided to sell. I'd like to upgrade speed, useful load, and am not terribly concerned with the added costs of retractable gear. My mission will be to carry 1-3 pax on regional trips, mostly VFR into asphalt strips.

I have an opportunity to buy a 1970 Arrow. I've heard some debates about the Hershey bar wing vs. tapered wing and I don't *think* it'll impact my mission much, but the 1970 sacrifices those 5 extra inches of legroom, which could be tough.

Any advice/experience/recommendation would be great!
