Garmin Pilot on my Android devices just updated to version 6.1.0, which now includes the same synthetic vision support that the iOS version has already had for a while. I won't have an AHRS data source in my plane until the new Garmin GTX 345 goes in next month, but I gave it a spin hooked up to my flight simulator.

It seems pretty basic: smaller hills aren't modelled, for example, so the terrain appears deceptively flat (though obstacles do show up), rivers and roads are extremely low res, and I've seen runways only for airports that also have instrument approaches. It's also a bit jerky, but that could be due to my older tablet or the interface to my flight simulator.

SVX doesn't feel like something I'd find a lot of use for in the plane, but still, cool to have it for us Android users now.
