Switch labels wearing out.

Some of my switch labels are wearing and I was curious what some of you may have done to address it? My first inclination was just to buy new switches. I mean switches should be cheap right? Well, I learned better, they are freaking expensive, particularly the master.

Is it possible or plausible to re-engrave the labels? If not, is it common to make new labels on the panel overlay?
