Good point and a while ago we had a member have his plane held hostage when he got in a dispute with the A&P. I know a frayed cable is a serious mistake but were all human, then again so many pilots want a quick cheap annual and not saying this member was one of them, but a lot of pilots are cheap when it comes to maintenance on there planes. There are good and bad in all professions so when you find a good one in aviation stick with them and follow there advice and build a good relationship that takes care of the plane.
