Storage Under Baggage Compartment STC

In a recent thread about a problem with the wing step, someone brought up this modification. Is there anyone on the board who has this in their airplane? If so, has anyone experienced any problems with this mod after the fact? Finally, is there anyone who would be interested in it if it were still available? Overtime I load up the family for a trip, I've thought about how handy a modification like this would be to be able to store my chocks, plugs, cleaning supplies, light tools, etc....

I did speak to the owner of the STC and they no longer produce the kit or sell the parts. The conversation has "left the door open" though and I'm trying to see if it's worth further discussion....
