I have a PA28 G 1972 model and I am trying to figure out if it has a stall warning horn that isn't working or just the warning ligh that is working. I have seen the light work on landing a couple of times and got to wondering if it was even working at all so I went out and did some stalls yesterday and sure enough it wasn't working. I reached up and touched the light as it appeared to be crooked and it fell into my hand, no wonder it didn't work. After putting it back in and giving it a little twist it now works every time.

I want to think I heard a horn 1 time when landing but wouldn't swear to it. I looked in the optional equipment list and looked up the part listed and it is the stall warning switch that is found on the wing. Where would I begin to look for an audible warning device that isn't working or was the warning light all there is.
