So, I've come from mostly Cessna time before owning this Cherokee 160. As such, the stall warning systems are a bit different, and I'm familiar with the designs.
I've noticed when in turbulent air or on climb outs, my stall warning likes to say hi now and again. I've been told there's no spring tension to hold it down, and I assume this is just inertial. However, it can be a bit unsettling in climb (such as today when climbing out at 80mph, and it said hi for about 3 seconds). The ASI appears fairly accurate, as she stalls (for real) right on the published numbers.
Common occurrence, old Cherokee-heads?
