Has anyone used one of these to maintain their battery?

BATTERYMINDER SCC015-AA-S5 12V 15 WATT AVIATION SOLAR CHARGER / MAINTAINER / DESULFATOR WITH PANEL FOR CONCORDE

The biggest problem for me is the supplied solar panel, hard & rigid. Where to place it securely. So if I get it I was thinking about replacing the panel with this:

10.5W 12V Semi Flexible Solar Panel, and it can be seen here:

This one would easily strap securely to the plane on the ramp.

Thoughts?
