Tried this experiment and it turned out really nice I think. I wrapped the uprights on my Rams Horn Yoke with the material to re-wrap a tennis racket. My interior is the same color so it is a really nice contrast on the yoke and the feel is wonderful (soft and squishy). It wrapped around really well and I pulled it tight and it went around the bumps in the back where your fingers go and formed around them really well. I had tried leather repair wrap before and it didn't do well in that area. At the top to keep it from unraveling I cut strips out of the leather repair tape I had and made little strips to seal the top really well. The kit came with tape to do this but it has a brand name on it and was red.
