Hi - new pilot and member here. Recently purchased a '73 "Challenger" (Archer). After purchasing this plane, I have had trouble with the pilot seat slipping out of position while taxiing. (have not flow it yet, and will not until this is fixed)
Reviewing the seat / rails, it seems the seat frame has been welded and repaired before. The rails also seem worn. (see attachments)

If I wanted to buy a new seat assembly, where would I do that? I have scoured the internet and can't find anything. Is my only option to try to find a salvage seat assembly? (new rails seem readily available)
