Seat Back Issues

My Cherokee 140 seats have a tendency to flop back to the recline position when I sit down in them. The passenger side is more prone not to stay in position. I see from looking at the parts manual that there are a couple of springs that hold pressure on the mechanism.

Does anyone have experience in changing the springs and how difficult the job is? Is there a previous post that looks at this problem? Thanks Steve
