Good info. I just wanted to be prepared with more knowledge for whatever is thrown at me. I didnt want to take the cheap route, just also didnt want to toss money at the problem. I think buying a rebuilt is my best bet. It may end up costing me dearly at my local shop. When Bart said his cost 1k for both and the impulse, I figure double at least here.


I think ill try and find a rebuilt mag this weekend, and not even worry about the shop messing with the internals, just install and time.  Spruce is on backorder, but im sure someone has an extra sitting on a shelf somewhere.
