S&W fuel level sender leaking...

So I finally was able to remove all the screws from the tank and pulled it out to fix the fuel level sender leak. Had to drill and slot the screw heads on 20 screws to get them out... not fun!!...

So the sender is leaking around the center part, where the wire connects.... have not tried to remove the sender yet as it was installed with Pro-seal and is rather well attached....

Anyone had any luck with resealing that part of the sender??? Wondering if replacement is needed to assure no leaks forward. Really do not want to pull the tank again.

I do have the gasket and new screws with sealing washers to put it together again, along with new screws to reinstall the tank to the wing. Fuel hose was replaced 4 years ago and the spar looks
