I have a 1973 PA 28-180. Over the past 6 months to a year have had what I believe is a gradual reduction in take off performance. Compression checks fine and it just came out out annual. Mechanics fine nothing wrong. Now for the past 2 takeoffs I get a hesitation as I advance the throttle. I get approximately 2100 rpm at full throttle as I accelerate down the runway which seems low to me. Once I get into cruise flight, every thing seems fine and I typically cruise at 2450 rpm. Anyone ever had a similar problem. I almost think I should have them rebuild the carb but not sure that is the problem.
