I'm posting this thread so that you can check your airplanes for the proper bolt and bushing installation at the main gear actuator to retraction block connection. I have been finding that the bushing is either missing, not installed in the correct position, and having the bolt turned around backwards. I even found one having a large diameter washer over the bushing making it impossible for the bushing to tighten up against the rod end bearing.
Photo 1 - LH MLG downlock & actuator as installed.
Photo 2 - Small bushing - bushing is installed in retraction block and its purpose is to press against the rod end bearing and hold it securely against the other side when the bolt is tightened.
Photo 3 - Bushing on bolt
Photo 4 - Bolt and bushing installed with bolt head forward. Note small gap between bolt head and retraction block as seen in mirror.
