My wife and I are training for our private pilots license. We recently purchased a 1978 Piper Archer PA-28-181.

It came with Garmin portable Aera 795, Garmin GTX 335, Garmin GDL 39, Stec 20 autopilot.

It has the rest of the vacuum gauges, VOR, and Coms.

Do these avionics meet the requirements for IFR?

If not, what avionics are needed?

TIA,
Charlie
