Hello Everyone!
I recently updated my panel and plastic. The old plastic had a number of placards. Some seem relevant and others, well, not so much. I was wondering which ones were "required" by the FAA and which were added by previous owners as informational.
Some specific ones in question:
No Smoking - This will never happen in my plane as long as I own it regardless.
Advance throttle from idle to full no faster than 2 seconds - Sounds more like what you would see in a rental. Most of us know not to rapidly pull/advance throttle.
Remove Cold Weather Baffles when operating at more than 50 degrees - Good idea, but I don't even have any.
Also, for the existing placards I want/need to keep, are there actual standards I have to follow when I make new ones?
