I'm considering replacing the original compass on my PA 28-180 with a vertical card compass, and would appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this. Did you replace it yourself and get IA sign-off? How easy/difficult was it to do this? Do you consider this a worthwhile investment? Thanks.
