Hello all:

I'm looking at an interim airplane while building an RV-14A. Just sold a Bonanza. I have 200+ hours in Cherokee 180/Archer/Warriors, so very familiar with the flying characteristics.

I'm looking at an Archer II that has very high time (over 12K hours) but appears to be in great shape with lots of upgrades. Many of the wear parts have been replaced in the last few years - stuff like control surface hinges. Lots of upgrades including interior, avionics, and low-time engine since first run OH.

My question is - what concerns should I have with an airframe with this much time? I've seen a few 172's with 15K + hours but no experience with this kind of use in Pipers.
