So I finally passed 500 hours total time a couple weeks ago! Now for 1000. :)

Does anybody use a checklist for Garmin 430w/530w/650 etc. while doing approaches? I was doing some training (with a safety pilot) and forgot to switch from gps to obs and forgot to switch to the right LOC frequency. The odd thing was that the gs seemed to be indicating mostly correct, just a little high. Unfortunately I didn’t notice the MSG on the display. So just wondering if anybody uses an “approach” checklist for Garmin GPS.
