I use aviationweather.gov to get my weather information. As you all will know, they did away with the Area Forecasts; you know the ones where you could select a region, then what came up was what looked like a computer print out of Wa, East of the Cascades, Wa, West of the Cascades, Or Coastal, Or Willamette Valley, etc.

I always like these briefs because it gave a pretty good outlook forecast for the next couple days and each entry ended with MVFR, VFR, etc.

Now it's all graphical with GAFS...Not liking it.

I would LOVE to hear what others use to get a good OUTLOOK forecast, so a VFR pilot can plan more than 18 hours ahead for a flight.

Thanks much!
