Back when EI had the rebates going, I bought an EI US-8A engine analyzer. Main objective for CHT monitoring. I want to remove the Alcor single EGT gauge and install this one for CHT and EGT. Both my IA and I, between work schedules and weather, have not yet started on this. We're looking to do so shortly, with me doing as much as possible. I've been lucky to have IA that allows me todo a lot of owner assist on my plane.

I have reviewed the details of the install - pretty straight forward. One question: What is the best source of power for the gauge. The Alcor needs no power. Draw for the EI is 0.3 amps. Do I need to run it's own circuit breaker?, or can I tie into another circuit - and label it appropriately. Being a 50+ year old plane, it's have a couple of panel upgrades in it's time, and has a few misc breakers scattered around the panel.

Thanks all for any thoughts.

Gary
