Surprised no one here has commented about this airport. Murtha Airport, Johnstown, PA. 150 million to start plus hundreds of thousands of taxpayers dollars since for wonderful airport that has 3 flights a day, empty terminal and ramps, and we the taxpayers are still paying half of the cost of a ticket there. Maybe everyone should plan a Piper fly-in there so the tower controllers can stay awake and have something to do that day. I think that this, just like the cost overruns on other government projects like developing new planes etc, demonstrates how out of control and outrageous aviation has become and our tax dollars are spent.
