I own a 1966 model Cherokee 180 C and I'm working on my instrument rating. Just the other day I had the IFR certificate updated and my instructor and I were talking about pitot heat and were about to switch it on when....no switch. Interestingly I have a pitot heat fuse and it's labeled as such but no switch for pitot heat. My mechanic is working on getting on installed but were all models outfitted with pitot heat and is there more to the story?? Thanks in advance.
