Piper POH vs Approved Flight Manual

So, I've been carrying a POH with W/B for my PA-28-150D but in doing some recent studying/review for my instrument rating have discovered that is not necessarily the same as an approved flight manual. Can anyone direct me to the differences as well as where one can get an approved flight manual?
