If you have a Piper Cherokee with a vertically adjustable pilot (or co-pilot) seat that uses the PL Porter "Hydrolok" cylinder (Part # SL10100) and hydraulic control cable, I have some information that will save you a lot of time on the phone.

The Piper parts manual, on most serial numbers, shows the "EasyLift" style setup that has the knob on the right-hand side of the seat. The Hydrolok setup has a button on the left-hand side and a standalone hydraulic control cable that actuates the lift cylinder. Calling the factory was no help, they sent me to a service center. Service Centers all pointed to the EasyLift style setup and did not list any information for a control cable, just a knob. Piper parts suppliers had the same answer.

The cable you are looking for is not made anymore according to multiple sources. However, avfab (Aviation Fabricators) the same company that rebuilds the Hydrolok cylinders, makes a mechanical replacement cable. It is not listed on their website, but I have attached pictures they provided me for fitment verification before I ordered the cable.

I hope this helps someone else looking for a replacement cable!
