I have a 1962 piper Cherokee 160 with the stall light. Clean clean stall speed is 65 mph. I came in at best glide speed of 80 mph and a clean configuration and the stall light was on. Has anyone else noticed this with the old-style switch that is not adjustable and have they noticed the light come on approximately 15 mph above stall speed ? I was practicing engine out with my instructor.
