Sooo, it was rumored some time ago that either Piper or Lycoming or someone with deep pockets was doing a Piper Arrow with a Lycoming IO-390 conversion. As an engineering exercise, it might be a worthy task, but performance wise... meh. Probably be better to try to convert the 180 Comanche with this engine. Or an Archer! Why, with that engine, I might be able to run with Orest!

Did the Arrow conversion come to fruition? Any specs? I'm sure that the cost would be substantial.
