There is this 1977 Piper Archer on Ebay. Buy it now price $88,500 with annual or make an offer without annual.

Putting all the data into Vref it comes out at about $76,000. It says 937 hours since top overhaul. Is that the same as SMOH or is there a subtle difference?

Does anyone buy a plane on Ebay without ever having it checked out and with no knowledge of when it had its last major engine overhaul and no knowledge of damage history? Am I mad to consider making an offer of $76,000 for this?
