There is a lot of dead space under the pilot's and co-pilot's chairs, could be very handy for holding tablets, manuals, kneeboards and such, out of the way, yet within easy reach. Here is how I capitalized on that space:
Just a simple stationery store, desktop "in box", zip-tied in. It took a bit of trimming and fiddling, but works great!
You could also make it out of aluminum, it would be more hardy. Doing so is on the list.
