PA32 leaky fuel sample valves

Piper really put the avgas sample valves in a dumb spot , when they leak , blue avgas falls on the wheel pants and stains them blue . It takes about a hour to buff out the stains with compound and it's happened about 3 x in the last 2 years . I have replaced the valve , but for some reason , every once in a while they don't seat correctly and drip fuel. Is there a different design or solution to this issue ?
