Talked with AOPA legal today and at the current time the PA32 line will not qualify for Basic Med, Because the TC list 7PLCM. Even though you would have to install the Piper Mod (Note 3) to be legal it is TC'd for 7 place.

Going to need an STC or a different legal ruling from the FAA.

Can fly a Malibu but not a 74 Six, seems silly
