Happy New Year to All!

I noted on my preflight that one of the main landing gear lower attach bolts has sheared (see picture of missing nut and damaged bolt in link below). It is the right main lower outboard bolt. I have not had any hard landings or sideloads, and curious if others have had has this happen. And what is the typical cause (fatigue, torque setting).

If I am reading the IPC correctly, it appears each main landing gear is attached with four upper bolts and four lower bolts - 8 total.

With an annual due this month, I am wondering if I should replace all attach hardware as a preventive step? Is access relatively easy for the upper & lower set?

Thanks.
