Has anyone been granted or considered requesting a field approval (FAA) for application of the PA28 STC for the installation of a GFC500? I have been in touch with Garmin several times and have been referred to the website for upcoming STC initiatives, the 235/236 STC process has been in the same position for at least a year. Field approval could be slower I realize, just curious if anyone has taken this approach.
