Now that I've been flying my own airplane for a few hours now, and am about to start the cross country part of my PPL training, I'd like to know what kind of GPH folks are seeing. Book numbers say 8.4, but I flew the other day for 0.9 doing touch and go's, and only used about 6.5. (not by a super accurate measurement, but fairly close). I've read in a couple of places that people are seeing about 7.5 in cruise, about 11% less than book specs. I have the standard 150 horse O-320-E2D.
