Hiyas. Hoping someone here can steer me closer to an answer to a problem with this seminole. Left engine is running normal fuel pressure both with and without the boost pump. The right engine took to pegging the pressure indicator one day. Ordered another pressure sending unit using piper p/n. when the new part was installed, the pressure indicator still goes to max as soon as the engine starts. Ohm meter puts both left and right fuel pressure sending units within 1.5 ohm of each other. I swapped the sending units side for side (left and right engines), and the problem has moved sides. I swapped sending units back to original sides again and of course the problem is back where it started. So, now i'm thinking i just got a bad sending unit. Ordered another unit with the same negative results. Ordered a 3rd sending unit from another supplier, also with the same negative results. The 3 "new" sending units i have ordered have serial numbers within 75 of each other. Is it possible there was a defective "batch"? Or am i missing something completely? Thanks
