Hi Gang-
Our Arrow IV is having a charging issue. Newish Alternator (6 months) Spoke to the guys at Hartzell & gave us some tips on diagnostics. We have 11.8V in the alt field, 0.0v on the output side with the engine static. They said we should have output even with the engine not running and the master/alt switch on. The guys said to look for a "diode pack" downline of the alternator. Any idea of where one would find that diode too diagnose? Tomorrows plan was to make sure we have good volts coming out of the voltage regulator. another question is what/where is the Alternator field breaker? Is that the 5a on our circuit breaker panel? and lastly in the schematic, it shows "Alternator Source Power Relay Energizing circuit" Can't find what that is either...Sorry for all the questions, this forum is always a wealth of information on Pipers!!!

Thanks in Advance!
