Hopefully, I haven't missed an existing thread; I'm posting to a couple of different forums looking for an answer.

I'm getting ready to replace the battery in my Warrior II (1978 PA 28-161), and the bench seat in the rear is a challenge. I can raise it far enough to get the battery cover open, but I'm not going to be able to pull that battery out.

Not much luck finding information on how to pull that seat out, or at least raise it high enough to let the battery clear the box. I can tell from forums that it's been painful for a lot of people.

Any tips or tricks before I resort to flashlight and wrenches?
