Well, after spending about $15k on panel upgrades for IFR, my turn coordinator is acting up. It's way over sensitive and I don't think it's indicating correctly for a 2 min turn. My shop said it's probably a gyro spinning too slow.

I was curious if there are any limitations on replacement? Do they have to have a special STC?

I'm a little cash shy at the moment having this problem after sinking a bunch of coin on other upgrades so I'm browsing the cheaper ones on Aircraft Spruce or eBay but I'm at a loss to put any criteria on what is an acceptable replacement.

Any thoughts would be be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

- Mike
