I just completed replacing the overhead plastic assembly that houses the speaker and lites in my Archer. My old one was cracked and the last avionics change ruined the fan pull on/off control so it no longer sealed properly. It was brittle so I understand why it broke. Seems to seal nicely now although I am still struggling to get all the threaded screws in properly. Sealing is important to stop the cold air leak in the Winter.

Does anybody use this electric fan in the Summer? The fan system seems like a lot of weight for something I hardly ever use. I use a Kool Vent quite a bit in the Summer.
