I pulled the senders out of my newly purchased PA-28 180 and had them overhauled by Lock Haven. According to the part number they are working perfectly going from 0 to 30 ohms. However, the guagesnin my aircraft although they appear to be original do not read full when the sender has a 30 ohm resistance to ground. They read 3/4 tank. The movement is linear to zero as I move the float to the empty position but obviously something isn't compatable. Any ideas? Can the gages be adjusted?
