I got my plane back yesterday after a long re-fit, what a lot of work. All up close to 900 hrs went into getting some of the long inop systems, like the fire extinguishing system, back up to speed along with all the work of removing the old avionics including what seemed to be miles of wire; then back in with the new stuff, new panels, and so on. Still not completely done, we still have to run new wires for some of the sensors when the engines are being R&R'ed, that will happen later this winter.

Amazing how the new stuff cleans up the dash, lots of empty space now! And the control yokes really look crappy now, time to send them off for a nice leather wrap while the engines are off.

And now the hardest part, figuring out how to work all this stiff... Old dogs and new tricks! Good thing I have an iPad, and my trusty CNX80 that stayed behind.
